ABOUT THE ACADEMY DANCE-HALL
The Academy is Buckley's newest venue, and possibly the oldest.
Incorporating a fabulous 1920s Licensed Dancehall plus a separate studio.
The Academy consists of a Main ballroom which boasts a canadian grade1 maple sprung dance floor, and unique arched stage... a fully Licensed Bar, and an attached Dance Studio, both of which are available for hire, 9am to 10pm - 7 days a week (or midnight Fri/Sat).
If you're local to Buckley, you may remember the Academy as The Albert Hall, which was
famous across North Wales and Cheshire as 'The place to go for dancing'.
Throughout the week we are open for a variety of classes and events, which currently include dance,
fitness, and social events.
Weeekday evenings are Adult dance class/social evenings.
Watch out for our music & cabaret nights which are the perfect place to relax, unwind, and have a quiet drink with friends.

THE ACADEMY IS Multifunctional
